A neat idea Harry, resulting in a beautiful poetic homage.

Long ago I did the same with Elytis' Μονόγραμμα (Monogram), crafting in effect an atypical sequel to it - and also added a few more verses as a homage to other Greek poets (Kavafis, Christianopoulos and I think Kavvadias too).

But I did so in Greek. And posted it directly on Facebook 😅 You reminded me, and inspired me, to try digging it up from the depths of my FB profile and translate it to post it here. 😊
